Meet Our Founders

Kunle and Toun Balogun Precious One Founders Mobile

Kunle and Toun have been married for over 35 years and have nurtured four grown-up children and many more in the community.

Kunle is an experienced IT consultant with 15 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors. Over the years, he has actively volunteered within Christian organisations including churches, holding a variety of leadership roles. He now devotes his time to the operations of Precious One. He is passionate about empowering individuals to live fulfilled and debt-free lives.

Toun is a mother who pursued higher education whilst raising her children and navigating significant financial challenges. She earned a BA in Theology and later achieved a Master’s degree in Management Studies from the University of Hertfordshire. She also worked within a prominent Government department and retired in 2012.

After graduating from university, Toun had the privilege of working for a large Christian community organisation in North London where she held the position of Head of Social Action. As part of her drive to see people set free from the burden of debt, she trained and set up the Debt Advice unit whilst working for her previous employer.

Toun has been involved in various volunteer roles within both Christian and community organisations. She is passionate to see others set free from the burden of debt and abuse. She also enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with family and friends.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kunle and Toun were inspired by their shared passion for helping people to set up the Precious One Christian Blog aimed at guiding people to rely on God, draw from their personal experiences and help prevent their readers from encountering similar challenges.
